This clinic will be HPS’s smallest small-group sessions with a maximum of 10 players designed to expedite individual skill development focusing on the skills and skating techniques needed to compete and progress at the varsity level and beyond. Players will receive 2 hrs/night of weekly instruction focused on transitional skating, edge control, maintaining speed through pivots and turns, overspeed skating, shooting, and puck control.  This clinic is designed for male and female defensemen in/entering high school and will utilize full sheets each session.

Clinic details:

• Monday Evenings 7:00-8:50 PM (7/8, 7/15, 7/22, 7/29, 8/5, 8/12, 8/19)
• 2005-2010: players should be entering/attending high school in the Fall of 2023.  Players entering a PG year are eligible.
• Limited to 10 skaters to maximize reps and allow for the attention needed to ensure proper techniques and corrective teaching.
